Celebrate Joséphine’s Pantheon Induction Anniversary with us on Nov 30

This November 30th marks the 4th anniversary of former Vésinet resident Joséphine Baker’s induction into the French Pantheon. To commemorate the moment, the town of Le Vésinet, the Josephine Baker Commemorative Site team, the Vésinet Historical Society, the Foundation for Le Vésinet, and the Musée Joséphine Baker et des Afro-Descendants de Paris invite you to an exceptional free public event. The evening will begin with a guided tour of the Villa Beau-Chêne’s gardens, followed by an illumination ceremony featuring live music by a Paris Opera pianist in honor of Joséphine.

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit her now privately-owned former residence, which is otherwise only open to the public one day per year.

*This event will take place entirely outdoors. In case of bad weather, please check our website for any cancellation announcements.
